Preserving The Harvest

I’ve had the joy of studying under wonderful herbalists and foragers in the community and beyond that have inspired me and taught me to use nature as fully as possible.  In this journey, I have come to use greens, flowers, seeds, nuts, bark, roots - oh my! - for food and medicine for my family, and love sharing what I’ve learned with others!  I teach tea etiquette classes, as well as serve during limited times and tea parties at the farm.  Inquire with us if you’re interested in hosting your own tea party!

All of my loose teas have been blended from organic (or wild-harvested), fair trade, highest quality ingredients, collected as near to our region as available.  They are made with whole ingredients in small batches, giving you a fuller flavor and fresher taste.  Though some had a nutritive purpose in mind during their creation, they are all made to have delicious flavor foremost, and would be a delight shared at any tea serving.  ~ Summer

Constant Chai, Use 1 1/2 t. per 8oz. - steep 3-4 minutes,  a very favorite of ours, this vibrant blend is a zippy and floral tea for those overcast days that you need a kick.  Excellent hot with a splash of cream.  Caffeinated.

Faith - Use 1 T. per 8oz.  Steep overnight for best results.  This herbal tea carries a minty freshness, and is packed with great assisters for your girly parts.  Our pre-teen daughter drinks it daily, as well as post-menopausal friends.  I also share it with pre- and post- birth (not during) Mamas.      Caffiene-free.

Lavender Rooibos, 3oz, Use 1 T. per 8oz - steep 5-6 minutes for a sweet fragrant drink.  Excellent served hot or cold.  Caffeine-free.

Mallow Out,  3oz - Use 1 T. per 8oz. - longer steep is best, tho' good flavor 3-5 minutes, tastes pepperminty and fresh for the season (I've used this blend to soothe tummy troubles quite efficiently). Naturally sweetened.  Caffeine-free.

Midnight Star, 3oz - Use 1 1/2 t. per 8oz - steep 6-8 minutes, less for mild, this tea is chalk-full of gentle chamomile, anise undertones and zingy orange in the back.  Relaxing.  Caffeine-free.

Red Chai, 3oz, use 1 1/2 t. per 8oz. - steep 5-6 minutes, this tea is more mild and sweet than our Constant Chai, though otherwise carries the same flavor punch.  Tasty served hot with a spot of cream.  Caffeine-free.

We keep a variety of herbs & spices in our apothecary.  If you need an individual, holler!
